DESCRIPTION:  \n \nKenai Watershed Forum is back at Kenai River Brewing Co. for Fireside Chats week 4. Fireside Chats are a weekly series featuring local specialist sharing information about a different environmental or recreational based topic. All are welcome at this family friendly event\, but members of the Kenai Watershed Forum are treated to their first drink on us! \nThis weeks speaker is Kristi Bullock. Kristi has worked as a Fire Management Officer for US Fish and Wildlife Service and has multiple years experience managing a recreational dog sledding team. Kristi will be sharing a presentation focused around how she “accidentally” got into recreational mushing. The presentation will also follow the life of Kristi’s retired lead dog\, Tikaani\, from puppy to her last day mushing. You won’t want to miss out on the chance to hear about “Tikaani’s Tale” and her life as a lead dog under Kristi’s guidance. Weather permitting\, Kristi has also offered to bring some basic dogsledding gear and a few sled dogs to accompany her for the presentation.
