SUMMARY:Fireside Chats: Tikaani's Tale with Kristi Bulock
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nKenai Watershed Forum is back at Kenai River Brewing Co. for Fireside Chats week 4. Fireside Chats are a weekly series featuring local specialist sharing information about a different environmental or recreational based topic. Fireside Chats are a great way to learn some new interesting information while getting cozy next to a fire\, some friends\, and good food and drink. All are welcome at this family friendly event\, but members of the Kenai Watershed Forum are treated to their first drink on us! \nThis weeks speaker is Kristi Bullock. Kristi has worked as a Fire Management Officer for US Fish and Wildlife Service and has multiple years experience managing a recreational dog sledding team. Kristi will be sharing a presentation focused around how she “accidentally” got into recreational mushing. The presentation will also follow the life of Kristi’s retired lead dog\, Tikaani\, from puppy to her last day mushing. You won’t want to miss out on the chance to hear about “Tikaani’s Tale” and her life as a lead dog under Kristi’s guidance.
