From inception in 1996, KWF encourages a board of directors representative of all the interests from our geographic region. Seats are not designated, our goal is to have balanced representation from economic development, environmental interests, and all fisheries user groups (sport, commercial, subsistence). This balance and the use of a consensus based decision making process makes us unique and has allowed us to earn respect of the communities we work in.
